If you are about to arrange campervan insurance then you may find it of interest to read that there may be a number of optional extras that can be arranged with the cover for an additional cost. Below we mention some of those optional extras.
Breakdown Cover
Nobody likes to break down especially when you are far from home. If this happens with your campervan and you have the above cover then the likes of roadside assistance is available to try to get you back on the road to continue with your holiday. If the vehicle is not repairable at the roadside then you may have the option to have it towed to a local garage or to home. If you are unable to start the campervan on your drive then home help may be available. You may also have the option to arrange cover should you not only breakdown in the UK but in a European country and have the vehicle retrieved back home.
Mis – Fueling Cover
Should you put petrol in the fuel tank instead of diesel then if you have included this optional extra with your policy you can have the vehicle towed to a suitable outlet to have the fuel tank drained etc.
Legal Protection Cover
This optional extra would enable you to obtain legal assistance to try to get back certain uninsured losses should you have been involved in a road traffic accident that you were not responsible for. You and family members can also obtain motoring legal advice.
Key Cover
Should your campervan key be lost or stolen or damaged then this optional extra should enable you to obtain a replacement key.
Replacement Car
In the event of you being involved in a road traffic accident in your campervan this optional extra would provide you with a car on a temporary basis whilst your campervan is being repaired.
