West Ham Player’s Dad Travels To Euros In Campervan

If you are a football fan you will know that Euro 2024 had just kicked off in Germany with England being one of the favourites to win the competition. Fans will be travelling from many parts of the UK to support the likes of England and Scotland at this year’s competition. Presumably, the majority of supporters will be boarding a plane to get to their destination but some will be travelling by road including the father of a well-known football player who is actually taking his campervan.

The football player in question is Jarrod Bowen who is 27 years of age and plays for West Ham United. Her is in the England squad and will be hoping that he plays in England’s first match on Sunday 16th June 2024 in Germany against Serbia so that his dad can have the pleasure and pride of watching him.

Apparently, Jarrod’s dad lives in Herefordshire so will be travelling many hundreds of miles whilst he is in Germany supporting his son. It could be a long trip if England progress to the final.

Jarrod’s dad bought the campervan a couple of years ago as, apparently, he enjoys certain water sports. Accompanying his father will be Jarrod’s brother along with a couple of his friends.

Some of you may find it somewhat amusing that the father of a premier league player who presumably has a decent income is travelling using this mode of transport rather than travelling by plane but you have to admire him.

Let us hope that Jarrod Bowen represents England at one or more of the matches and that his father enjoys the matches.

From the sound of things, it looks like he could be travelling over 2,000 miles in the campervan whilst over in Germany. The cost of the fuel is going to be quite significant. No doubt he will have suitable campervan insurance in place to also include travel to European countries that hopefully includes breakdown cover.
