So, for starters, which National Parks are the most user friendly as far as welcoming campervans on the campsites in their parks? Some of you may think that all campsites accept campervans but this is not the case. So which National Parks are the most welcoming to campervans? Well, in first place at 75% is Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park at 75%. In second place is the North York Moors National Park at 71%. In third place is The National Park of Eryri (Snowdonia) at 66%.
As you will be aware there are numerous campsites around the UK but which ones are rated overall the most highly by campervan holidaymakers? Well, in joint first place you have Hendre Mynach Camping and Touring Park that is located in the National Park of Eryri, Snowdonia and Glengoulandie Camping and Caravanning that is located in the Cairngorms National Park. Both of these campsites were rated 10 out of 10.
An ever increasing number of people are struggling financially so which National Parks have the campsites that on average within a 10 mile radius charge the least per night to spend the night in your campervan? Well, in first place is The Broads National Park with an average pitch fee of £19 per night. In second place is the North York Moors National Park with an average pitch fee of £23.00 per night. In third place is the Exmoor National Park with an average pitch fee of £24.00 per night. In 10th place is the Northumberland National Park with an average pitch fee of £28.50 per night.
If the weather is a consideration for you which it probably is for an awful lot of campervan holidaymakers then the South Downs National Park and The New Forest National Park both score 8.6 out of 10.0 for average rainfall and 7.9 out of 10 for average temperatures giving a total select score of 16.5 out of 20.0.
